PopUp EXTREME is a comprehensive experience package at Øvste Stegen, where nature, history and food melt together into something truly unique.
On August 28th and 29th we welcome you to an exclusive overnight experience for those who want more than just a meal.
We will take you from the fjord up to Øvste Stegen Høgdagard, one of the most spectacular farms in the Aurlandsfjord. Here you will find local flavors, unique surroundings and stories in the walls. This is an experience where the journey, the place and the people are as important as the food.

Øvste Stegen
– A destination that roots in history
Øvste Stegen Høgdagard is one of the most unique farms in the Aurlandsfjord, with traces of settlement dating back to the 1600s.
The farm has been in the same family since 1776, and in 2026 it marks 250 years in the same family.
Today it is Irene and Ottar who manage the place, with a strong desire to take care of both the nature, the buildings, and the traditions, and not least to share this history with others.
The farm has no road access, and the journey there begins in Undredal by boat before continuing up a narrow path where the view over the Aurlandsfjord becomes more and more spectacular with each step.

A deposit of NOK 5,000 per person is required at booking. The remaining balance must be paid by August 15th. The cancellation deadline is August 1st.
